Get ready for another late-night adult skate party at Cal Skate Rohnert Park! DJ Wild Child is back from Texas by popular demand on Saturday Night January 25th 10:00pm-1:30am. Join us Monday January 20th Martin Luther King Jr Holiday for our Kids Skate10-11:30am or Afternoon All Ages Skate 12-5pm!
Morning Kids Skate admission is $12 admission includes skate rental. Skate mate rental $5. Recommended for ages 2-10. Parents/Guardians may pay to skate with a child. ONLY session for parents/guardians to walk on the skating floor.
Afternoon All Ages Skate admission is $13 admission, skate rental $5, skate mate rental $5. Open to all ages and skill levels!
Learn to Inline
Next session of Learn to Inline Skate Classes starting up Wednesday January 22nd. Classes are Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm for new skaters of all ages wanting to skate on inlines. $60 per 4 week session includes 2-4pm Open Public Skate Session followed by the 4-5pm Inline Skate Class. Learn to balance, march, roll, braking basics, falling and getting up, slalom, and more. **During this class only, parents/guardians are welcome to be on the skating floor to help their child skater.** Class includes skate rental if needed. Protective gear (helmets, pads, wrist guards) optional (Cal Skate does not provide or rent protective gear). Advanced registration/payment required at calskate.com/classes. The January 22nd Session Includes: Jan 22nd, Jan 29th, Feb 5th, and Feb 12th.
January Full Out Tuesdays
Tuesday January 21st is the next FULL OUT TUESDAY with the Class & DJ Set by Ignacia. Ignacia teaches the 6pm Adults (18+) Skate Skills Class and then DJs the Adults (18+) Open Skate 7-9:30pm. Ignacia’s class is open to all levels of experience but best suited for intermediate and advanced skaters. Learn new skills and dances to great music. DJ Ignacia will set the night’s rhythm for the Open Skate. Vibe into good music, make cool friends, master smooth dance moves, and have fun breaking a sweat. $25 includes Ignacia’s Class & the 7-9:30pm Adults Open Skate! Note: Skate mates are not allowed on the skating floor during adult nights.
Derby Skate Camp 18+
North Bay Derby is hosting a 12 week Beginner Skate Camp for adults 18+ Wednesday nights 7:30pm-10pm at Cal Skate Rohnert Park starting Wednesday January 22nd. This 12 week program for people who have never skated before or those who want a refresher on their fundamentals.
The 12 week session is $125 (additional $25 skate/gear rental fee if needed). Sliding scale and payment plans are available. For questions and to RSVP, email join@northbayderby.org.
February First Friday
Our Adult & Teens Morning Skate regulars help pick a theme for the 1st Friday each month (participation always optional). Friday February 7th 10-11:30am the theme is Skate Love for Valentine’s Day! Wear pink or red ❤️💕♥️💕 and join us with the OG skating teacher extraordinaire Jean Saya providing 20 minutes of group instruction!
Recommended for all skill levels, great place for beginner adult skaters to get rolling! Theme participation is always optional. Either way, this is a great way to start your day. Wake & Skate with us!
About Cal Skate
Cal Skate of Rohnert Park is a locally owned family-run roller skating rink providing all ages entertainment in the friendly city of Rohnert Park! We offer group skating classes, private skating lessons, and proudly host the Redwood Empire Artistic Skating Club, North Coast Inline Racing, and North Bay Roller Derby. We have all ages open skate times, weekly adult skate nights, monthly events and are a birthday party and STEM Field Trip destination. We are invested in our community, raising $36,000 annually for local non-profit organizations and schools with our Skate & Donate Fundraisers. Discounted group rates are also available for school groups, licensed day cares and camps with reservations.
