West Side Rollers Adult Skate Class
West Side Rollers Oakland Takeover returns with Up Ya Rank November 21-23 featuring bay area workshops all weekend long with one of New Jersey’s legends, Brandon Young @south_ttg! FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22ND 10:00 – 11:00 PM Cal Skate Rohnert Park is proud to host Brandon Young for an Adults 18+ Only Indoor Workshop. Tickets available at Eventbrite and also available at the door. Workshop skaters should demonstrate basic proficiency in moving forward and backward, along with the ability to confidently execute turns, recommended 98A or harder (101A) wheels. Class style will be NY/NJ; Body Mechanics, Control and Basic Fundamentals. Adult skaters are encouraged to pay & stay for an Adult Open Skate Feat. DJ Jiwa 11:00 PM – 1:30 AM open to all skill levels. $15 Admission at the door.
Sunday November 24th Adults 18+ come join us for an 80s & 90s AdultSkate! Admission $15 with skate rental included or BYO. Tickets at the door, no pre-sale. One night only we will deviate from our regular Adult Night vibes with an 80s and 90s playlist compiled as a SSU college assignment for students studying the rhythm and blues music culture of the 80s and 90s. No DJ. No song requests. SSU’s playlist only. Feel free to come dressed in your 80s and 90s best!
Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving Break is coming up! We are expanding our hours while school is out. Monday 11/25 we have Kids Skate 10-11:30am recommended for Ages 10 & Under and their parents/guardians ($12 admission includes skate rentals $5 skate mates). All Ages Afternoon Skating available Monday 11/25 – Wednesday 11/27 12-4pm & Friday 12-5:30pm ($13 admission $5 skate/skate mate rentals). Closed Thanksgiving Thursday. Don’t be a Turkey, come skate with us!
Festive Friday Adults & Teens
Our Adult & Teens Morning Skate regulars help pick a theme for the 1st Friday each month (participation always optional). Friday December 6th is FESTIVE FRIDAY! Dress festive ❤️💚❤️💚 and join us with the OG skating teacher extraordinaire Jean Saya providing 20 minutes of group instruction! Recommended for all skill levels, great place for beginner adult skaters to get rolling! Theme participation is always optional. Either way, this is a great way to start your day. Wake & Skate with us!
All Ages Usher Skate Night
Friday December 6th join us for an All Ages Usher Skate Party! Skate alongside 2 of Usher’s Super Bowl skate crew members @idance_solo and @B.fluent_ Vibe into good music, make cool friends, master smooth dance moves, and have fun breaking a sweat! $15 Admission $5 Quad/Inline Rental. About Cal Skate
Cal Skate of Rohnert Park is a locally owned family-run roller skating rink providing all ages entertainment in the friendly city of Rohnert Park! We offer group skating classes, private skating lessons, and proudly host the Redwood Empire Artistic Skating Club, North Coast Inline Racing, and North Bay Roller Derby. We have all ages open skate times, weekly adult skate nights, monthly events and are a birthday party and STEM Field Trip destination. We are invested in our community, raising $36,000 annually for local non-profit organizations and schools with our Skate & Donate Fundraisers. Discounted group rates are also available for school groups, licensed day cares and camps with reservations. Our schedule fluctuates seasonally, expanding our weekday hours during school holidays and breaks and is updated regularly at calskate.com.
